Accessibility and inclusive participation
The persistent Accessibility button applies reading and display preferences across the platform. These controls complement browser, operating-system and assistive-technology settings; they do not replace them.
Semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-visible focus, screen-reader labels, browser speech, scalable text, high contrast, monochrome mode, underlined links, optional decorative-image removal and large pointer support.
Written equivalents, captions requirements for virtual classes and transcript-backed recorded learning where recording is approved.
Keyboard routes, skip links, large controls, reduced motion, no drag-only core workflow and additional response-time arrangements through learner support.
Plain-language guidance, readable-font and spacing controls, narrow reading width, predictable navigation, chunked actions, self-paced routes and reduced-distraction arrangements.
Written participation routes, text-based support, alternative presentation methods and practical communication preferences in the private accessibility passport.
Device motion preferences and a platform override that suppresses non-essential animation and smooth scrolling.
Preferences persist on the device and can be combined. Learners may request a practical adjustment without disclosing a diagnosis.
No digital service can guarantee that every feature works for every disability, device or assistive-technology combination. DASKEREL targets WCAG 2.2 AA patterns and records known controls, but a conformance claim requires continuing manual keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, mobile, captions and disabled-user testing. When a route does not work, an equivalent human-supported route must be agreed.
